Project Life - week 11

journaling:

What a week!

We spent a lovely afternoon with Scott, Joelle, and the boys. I took a ton of pictures of Joey &

Christian feeding the ducks. On Tuesday we learned that the College of Cardinals had elected

a new pope, the first to come from the Americas. Welcome Pope Francis!

Wednesday morning at 7:00 Dusty escaped under the fence, ran toward Memorial Hwy. and was

struck by a huge pickup truck. Sarah and I saw it happen, but by the grace of God he was only banged

up a little. Nothing was broken, and on Saturday we repaired the fence.

[note: the image on the lower left is after his pain meds finally kicked in. The only place he would lie down was on our bed, so I joined him for a nap.]

Poor Dusty - bless his heart - I'm so glad he's recovering, but he doesn't look like the dog who steals Dave's CD's in his pic, does he? Love your week - your weeks are always so interesting and I always look forward to seeing them - love the format!

You have had a busy week. It must have been traumatizing to see Dusty hit. I have seen animals I didn't own hit by cars and it is an awful thing to see. I'm glad he is okay. I like the way you used the little medical symbol and photographed the fixing of the fence.

That poor boy! It must have scared you to death. I wonder if he learned his lesson? I've known some who've cheated death on more than one occasion, so maybe not! I like the little medical symbol combined with "a miracle". Very interesting page.

Great variety of photos and I always enjoy your journalling. Glad Dusty is okay, that is a bit too much excitement for any week.
