I scraplifted Amanda's "This Year" layout -

journaling: Lynn Mason was one of my early childhood friends. Lynn and I were two of the three girls that lived in our neighborhood. We were real tomboys and often played football and baseball with the boys. We also both loved to read and would go to the book mobile, bring home a stack of books each, and then go to each others house and sit and read together. And we both liked to play board games. In this picture, we are playing Monopoly on our back porch. She was two years younger than me but was a great friend. In 1958, I was ten and she was eight.

LOVE this. Everything about it! Great journaling. I love the combination of printed papers! I like the tilted photo on the vertical strip of horizontal striped paper! The title is perfect. Thanks for joining!
