I ALSO scraplifted Andrea's beautiful Us Girls. I have had it in the back of my mind since I first saw it and the challenge was perfect! Thanks, Andrea and Conda!

I'm the 6 year old "Dottie" in the photo, along with my 5 year old brother John, my bottle-blonde, red-lipsticked Aunt Tillie, who was always fashionably dressed, and my ever well-dressed 6 year old neighbor, Carol (Mom said that she was an only child and that's why she always looked nicer, LOL.) In the bg is the pop-up/retractable clothesline which came with the purchase of the house. The colors of the LO are because the living room was painted pink and brown, the style at the time. It was fun to look back and do this challenge!

I agree that Andrea's layout was wonderful and I love seeing your great interpretation of it. Wonderful photo! I like your retro color scheme and the way you named everyone. I love the textured background, too. Fantastic layout, Dot!

What a cool page Dot and especially sweet photo! You were/are adorable and look like you're having a happy time... I like how you highlighted the people in the pic and how you treated it and the colors you used. I enjoyed reading your notes.. Ahhhh.... Life seemed so much simpler then somehow didn't it? Lovely page and happy to see you creating and posting.
