April 4 - Color - Darkening Sunset

I do not use the color/shade black in my layouts very often. My sunset photos from my easter weekend came out pretty dark so I thought the black on this page would help the photo appear a bit lighter, while still suggesting that night is on the way.

oh my goodness this is just gorgeous and I feel like I"m sitting right in front of that sunset watching and hearing the birds. Beautiful use of your photo and black - you did such a masterful job I can't tell what is the original photo and what isn't. Stunning page and oh-so-peaceful too.

I really like this effect and might have to try it with some of my darker photos. Your LO does seem to be glowing! Very cool!
