White Flower 4/8 All is Us challenge

Late on this - had to think about it for a while. It seems many of the things free to us all are never enjoyed because we don't open our eyes to them - thus, the little weed is not appreciated for it's particular beauty, but becomes the target for Roundup (weed killer.)

I so agree with you! Many "weeds" are beautiful. I love how you've focused in on the flower and left everything else blurred; it's a gorgeous effect. Your title embellishment adds an elegance to the "weed", and I also love your background blending.

Oh, Betty - how lovely this is in so many ways. I really enjoyed your quote - it's so perfect for the day and your notes are so thoughtful I was really touched. Your photo is exquisite and your soft blending of the pretty backgrounds really highlight it so well. I also really like the bokeh effect and the light it gives your page, it's all so wonderful. Super layout and thanks for sharing your experience of "All is Us" Day in such a beautiful way.

Love this layout. I consider things like this to be some of the very best simple pleasures. Weed flowers are some of my very favorite flowers. There is beauty in everything round us. Thanks for sharing your beautiful page.

How pretty! The blending is beautiful and I love the colors. My pretty weeds always get picked in my yard and given to me by the girls!

I have to echo Jean - words fail me. :) No wait... beautiful natural colors, great blending, perfect quote. And weed killer is something that I am completely unfamiliar with. :)

I love weeds! I let the dandelions have their way with my yard every year - the bright yellow flowers are so cheerful! I get some kind of tiny purple cone-looking things too and I let those go too. My neighbors with their perfect lawns probably hate me! lol! I love how you've blurred the background and put the sharp focus on the flower.
