1. one photo; treat with style, action, mask, blending mode

 

 

 

 

I used a masked by Syndee Nuckles from Picturesque on my main photo and turned all my photos black and white.

 

 

 

 

2. use a sketch or layout template

Great layout Michele! Looks like you still have your mojo, even though you haven't been scrapping much this year. I like the torn paper, the tangle of ribbons, and the way your journaling wraps neatly around the photos. Sounds like a crazy day of traveling.

It looks great Michele! I thought the ribbons were reminiscent of the swirling snow you journalled about and the photos and the journalling worked perfectly together. What a long day, but it led to a great page!

I read all the tasks and It sounds quite difficult. You did an amazing job. I love the colors and the small photo in the middle of the journaling.

The balance of your layout is wonderful - I like the large open space and the random embellishments make a great border along the bottom. The curl is a neat border for your journaling, too.

I like how you included smaller photos within the journaling. This looks terrific! Great border/cluster along the bottom and I especially like the smaller "airport" and date that balance the darker and larger title.
