Dd and her favorite animal from the zoo, the flamingos!

Tip from the newsletter:

Sometimes when I am working on a layout I get stuck and just can’t seem to finish it to my satisfaction. I add embellishments, only to take them away; I move things around, only to put them back, all the while feeling like there is something missing, but not knowing what it could be. It is at times like these that I have learned to stop tweaking the layout and make sure I have added all of my drop shadows. It is amazing what depth and polish the drop shadows can add to a layout, giving it a completed look, or highlighting areas of my layout that need a little extra attention.

Florida water birds?? Well... you know I love this page! I love the flamingo-pink and aqua colors of the page, too, as well as the wonderful photos and fun embellishments.

Wonderful photos of Caitlyn and the flamingos! The blended background paper look great and I love the feathers. And yes, the shadows do make all the difference:)

Pink flamingos never looked so great! Your tip today was wonderful advice. I never seem to know when to stop. However, setting the layout aside, adding those shadows and looking at it again later is something I should do all of the time. It sure worked on this layout for you, it's just perfect.
