Journalling reads:

None of us have had the time to visit the hairdresser lately, so today all four of us take turns getting a haircut! Daddy insists on using the time efficiently and gets the kids to do their homework while waiting, but medicated Neko-chan has other ideas. Joyjoy surprisingly sits quietly in Mummy’s arms through the haircut instead of screaming as usual, so Stephanie and her assistant joke about buying 4D!

Food, glorious food! On Wednesday afternoon, the kids feed both body and soul as they enjoy some leftover cake and watch Theo. On Sunday after church, Neko-chan enjoys some lunchtime fellowship with Alexis and Zephyr. Later, we all enjoy a late afternoon snack at a roadside stall. Joyjoy actually tries and loves spicy fried carrot cake!

Note:

4D is kinda like the lottery, where you bet on a 4 digit number. In Chinese, we refer to the practice as 'buying' 4D, and some think of it as buying a dream or hope, as opposed to the gambling it really is. (i have rather strong feelings about this as it can be a serious problem in Chinese communities, so my apologies if i offend anyone!)
