Mama got this off a soup can label back around 1972, and we still make it! Sometimes I thicken it with a little flour/water mixture before serving. The original recipe called for a can of soup and a can of water, but over the years I opted for two cans of soup instead.

Thought I recognized that kit (Vista Linda.) Beautiful, simple, easy to read. Love it, and the recipe sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing.

This sounds good! Probably not so different than the rice and gravy I was raised on. I think my husband will love this! The colors of your card are so pretty, and I like how you included your mom on the tag. Really sweet card!
