Jack-WWII Germany

Jack-WWII Germany

The medic on the left was Hudson's father. They were at the River Roer (sp) Battle and building the bridge across it- Battle of the Bulge. We have a large report on it at home somewhere.

Great photo. Love the two layouts.
Great photo! I'm thinking it must have been very cold there. I love your background and the simple embellishment.
What a treasure! Lovely LO. :)
Oh Jean you do the lovliest Heritage layouts. I love your wonderful photo - you have such treasures and you are scrapping them so beautifully. I really like the background you used and how simply you framed the pic. Your title looks great too and lets the photo be the main emphasis. Wonderful layout.
Wow! What an amazing photo! I don't think I've ever seen one like this before. My father-in-law was in the South Pacific, never in Germany. Great background and military tag. Hudson should be proud of this (the photo and the layout)!
I love these old historic photos that show the nature of the relationships built during the War but outside of Military shots. This photo shows the kinship of these men facing incredibly horrific times together and yet still able to work up smiles. My pop was in Egypt and Palestine, not Germany so this is really interesting to see. Love the manly background and again, you have kept the focus on the subject matter beautifully.
This is such a wonderful photo! Love how you scrapped it so simply.
