My friend became the mayor of his home town last week and I didn't know what to give him as a gift, so I made a scrapped image. I downloaded a picture his sister took from Facebook, removed the background using Jody's technique and then applied the silhouette action. To really highlight the moment I then went back to the original picture and extracted the chain and applied the metallics action. This is a really different type of scrapbooking for me and I really like it.

Kate it looks marvellous!! I LOVE the brushwork, the definition, the chain... You have created the most special piece of art here... I can only imagine how thrilled Tom will be... :-)
