Elephant Community Center

Another page from our family trip to the National Zoo this spring. The new elephant building is a wonderful improvement over the old elephant house - bigger, more open, more activities & information for visitors. But there was only one elephant inside when we got there, and, of course, when we went outside, they had all gone back inside. Two photos of elephants are from the zoo's web page.

The papers are all from Laura Louie's Stay Neutral collection. I made the elephant parade by extracting one elephant from a paper in her Wild Things collection, recoloring it, and arranging many copies in a circle - inspired by one of the sample layouts for the collection. Other supply details are in the EXIF file.

This is a totally creative page as well as interesting. Extracting an elephant to create the arch is a great idea and so well executed.
