Directions for one technique I did on this layout:

For this page, I envisioned my ancestors not as a family tree, but as a family flower garden. We come in all shapes, sizes, and colors to make a harmonious whole, pleasing to the eye (and heart). To top off the garden I created on top of the frame cluster, I added a piece of picket fence from At the Cottage Collection Biggie.

This is beautiful, Cheri! It has so many great details, like the ripped paper and lacy border and I love that you split Syndee's brush apart so the quote spans the width of your page.

I love your concept about families being a garden, not a tree. This is so true! I really like the layering and the lace border and the purple makes such a lovely background for the photos. Thanks!
