Continuing from last week's snippets about the Malaysian 13th General Elections. i hope i'm not disturbing anyone by posting such detailed info about our elections here. i was wondering if i should include this info in my Project Life at all, but decided that i should, for politics does affect our lives in more ways than we know, and we in Malaysia are now living through a political awakening. Outside life goes on as normal, of course, but inside? i think we have been fundamentally altered. This is a significant moment in our history, and something that i want my kids to be able to appreciate when they are older. (i won't include the text here, but if anyone is interested in a more neutral point of view, i can direct you to reports in the international news sites.)
Text on the journalling cards read:
After chipping a front tooth on Waipo’s chicken curry, we are afraid that i would have to smile and pose for photos like Lee Li Lian, but a gentle lady dentist is able to completely reconstruct the chipped off part with minimal pain. Hurray for modern dentistry!
Neko-chan’s JXC course at Yamaha has finally started. Not only are music lessons much more fun in groups, one of his new classmates also happens to be little Esther, his old classmate back in his first year of kindergarten. And so with the company of friends and a great teacher, Neko-chan suddenly finds much more motivation to practise on his own. Boys thrive on competition after all.
Supplies in EXIF, thanx for looking!
