April ATC Hybrid - Hardware - Gearing Up for Spring

I picked the theme "Gearing Up for Spring and used Angie Briggs' His-N-Her's Collection.

 

I printed the "note paper" frame on textured card stock and used my silhouette to cut it out - it even produced the ragged/holes at the top of the paper to make the appearance of it being torn on a spiral ring notebook. I took 24 gauge wire and wrapped it around a toothpick to get it to curl and then tried to feed it through a couple of the notepaper holes. I used a Phillips head screw brad and a few gear washers to accent some of the font (GearBox).

Awesome card Lei!! I never thought of the Phillips head screw as being a brad...duh! I kept wondering "how'd she do that"? Now I know!!

This is soooo, soooo pretty! I used the same brad, lol. I need to take a photo of my card and post it.

Wow, Lei I love hearing how you put this little beauty together and for as pretty as it is, it's even more so in person! I love your flower and all the cut-work you did and I really like your title (& font!) and all the hardware scattered around. Super ATC and thanks for making such a gorgeous one, I love it! :)
