I decided to scraplift this page by Amy, Pumpkin Paradise!, but rather than do Colour Isolation I used a gradient to fade out the colour from my photo... it just seemed right :-). I kept it simple like Amy to keep the focus on my photo :-)

I love this, Jode. The journaling on the path, and fading out the far-away part of the photo is so artistic. Then I love the leaves in the foreground.

What a wonderful page Jody! I LOVE the quotation and how you fit the type so nicely onto the pathway. I really like the gradient and placement of color. Great contrast between the color and b&w as well. I love the slight hint of color in the sky too. Beautiful layout!

Beautiful quote, and I love it so appropriately going up the road. The color fade is a cool effect and one you are inspiring me to use more often. Also, you did gorgeous work on the leaf brushes! Beautiful photo and page.

This is gorgeous and I love the cluster at the bottom. Is there any possibility you could explain to us somewhere how you created the gradient filter for your photo? - thank you!

Beautiful use of the gradient Jody. I do hope this ends up being a newsletter "technique I used"...*hint hint* Love the sketched leaves at the bottom.

Love!!! The gradient work looks amazing - I really had to look twice at it to see how you did it. You are a master at those sketched leaves. Wonderful, wonderful work.

I definitely need to remember to journal right on a big photo more often - you do this technique SO effectively. Love it!
