Huckleberry: Day 2

Here's Huck's second day in NJ. I'm exhausted - little monkeys have a LOT of energy! :D

Journaling reads:

"Huck had a busy second day in NJ. He came to Yoga and met Karen, then off to Margie’s to plan summer painting. Ayla was there and gave him lots of kisses!

We stopped at the park so Huck could go on the slide and swings and climb a little, but it was too hot for a little monkey so we went to Susan’s for a visit. Huck met LOTS of friends in Mattie’s room including some distant monkey relatives. He even rode a circus elephant and wasn’t scared! He tried to have fruit for lunch but found it was glass and not real. Fun to play in anyway... :)

Allison shared her music and earphones with Huck and then we all went outside where Huck had a great time playing basketball and riding bikes with a frog pinwheel. We didn’t tell him he wasn’t going anywhere since he was enjoying himself so much.

After dinner Huck went along to my watercolor class’ painting reception at the library. He was a big hit and quite social, but a very tired little monkey so he took a rest in my bag.

When we got home we both went straight to bed!

I think today will be a quiet day!"

Go Huck!!! I love how he is into everything, what a little trooper. He is certainly making lots of friends and fancy catching up with relatives! Win/Win! Yoga, art shows, you are giving him some variety for sure. I smiled about his bike ride - but lucky he didn't go anywhere as he would be knackered by now! Love this page, your journaling is so interactive, I can just see him doing everything! Plus I get to match up the pics... love it

LOVE IT! I can see Huck is having a wonderful time and making lots of friends. I bet he was really surprised to find a cousin reunion in NJ. What a great MBA-style slam dunk. Huck is having so many adventures - his head must be in a whirl. There are so many times I would like to be able to crawl into a bag and take a rest! Tell him to stay cool and drink lots of water when it's hot. (Oh yes, love your photos above the circular mats and magnificent journaling!)

Oh, I've waited all day to hopefully see what kind of mischief little Huck has been up to! What fun he's having with you, Marilyn, and I know you are enjoying every single minute of the fun too! Fun layout and LOVE the colors!

What a busy little monkey! I'm sure Huck is enjoying every minute with you and I'm amazed you could find time to snap all those pictures AND write about it all. It's so interesting to read about Huck's time with you -- and your layout is beautiful! I especially like seeing Huck meditating in the upper corner. :D
