Cheri T Posted July 10, 2013 Caught my eye right away - I love old samplers! And new ones too, lol - before scrapbooking, cross stitching and embroidery were my big loves:) I swear I'll return to them someday!! This is a gorgeous page. I like the way you segmented the background and the circular frame behind your mom is reminiscent of an embroidery hoop. Quote Link to comment
princessrunningfingers Posted July 10, 2013 Wow, what a treasure you have there. I love that you included a photo of your Mom. Quote Link to comment
Florida granny Posted July 10, 2013 What a wonderful layout! I love the colors and how your embellishments beautifully highlight both the sampler and your mother's photo. I especially like the gingham ribbon and the cross-stitched title. I enjoyed your article in today's NL, too. It's great that the handy-sized Flip Pal scanner can help preserve all these family treasures. Quote Link to comment
