12jul13 Fri Scraplift _ Durin

I liked the brightness and border effect on this page by Durin, Windows to the Soul, so I kept those features and chose a predominantly monotone page and added lacy features - the paper started out as a border! Oops.

That is such an interesting sculpture, and layout. I think your choice of a monotone page suits it well, and the lace seems to be perfect.
What a clever way to display that amazing sculpture! I love all the lace in your page and the way you've contrasted it with the black. Strikingly and beautifully done.
Great photo and perfectly scrapped. I've never seen the lace paper look so pretty. Lovely layout.
Such a lovely and unique page!
Love how you turned Durin's layout into your own. The monotone with the pop of teal color is beautiful.
Very interesting - made it your own! Great colors. Stamp of approval. TFS and taking part in the challenge.
