Huckleberry: Day 5

Here's Huck's Day 5. We might take a rest tomorrow, but Huck's Adventures will be back on Monday! :)

Journaling reads:

"Huck was intent on swimming today, but when we got to the pool it started to rain. He was quite distraught and almost had a meltdown in the car, but being a good little monkey he pulled himself together and helped me with errands, even insisting on mailing my letter for me. Later we went to Allison’s Summer Art Show. He loved this wonderful pastel of hers and enjoyed visiting the Museum gift shop. He thought the cell phone covers were tiny pieces of art just his size, so we didn't tell him differently. Afterwards we all went for ice cream at Applegate Farms. Huck had fun riding on the cow and thought himself very brave as he wasn't even afraid!"

Huck's amazing adventures continue... I love reading your journaling about Huck's day. I also love seeing the photos! Pretty color combo, and I especially like the Huck-colored edge to your page. I wonder what Huck will be doing next...

oh he is so cute!!! Can't imagine him chucking a wobbly!!! Lucky he calmed down... I like how he had some culture appreciation before he got on a sugar high... Great page!! Love the themed pages - they all look so good and coherent together.

Your photos and journaling are such fun. I love the layouts. Poor Huck is going to be exhausted by the time he goes home. I'm sure he (you) is enjoying the visit.

Adorable! Love Huck's "frustrated" pose! LOL Exactly how I feel but he does it better! Rain, rain, go away! hahaha! LOVING your fun adventures with Huck, Marilyn - you do it so well that I really think Huck should hang around with you awhile longer and keep us all smiling a bit longer! You must be having a ball with him!

You are sure keeping Huck busy! I love the distraught photo in the car window. And that is a nice pastel - I love the shape of pears, they make such great art. Pretty layout, it's such a nice color combo and the black stroke frames are a nice touch.
