Monday Challenge 15th July

Monday Challenge 15th July

This is all that remains of the old West Pier in Brighton, kind of makes me sad.

Supplies used
Upon A Watercolor Sea Collection, designed by Jennifer Ziegler,
By the Sea Collection Mini, designed by Syndee Nuckles,

I love the sun rays on your layout, you have captured your childhood memories beautifully, I also like the rusty colors of the pier.
Valerie, what an absolutely gorgeous layout, a beautiful memory captured although sad to see it in such a state.
Wonderful technique with the photo, I love your blending work and the wonderful colour match. It is interesting to see a page focussed on a ruin, I like those pages better than perfect pictures usually... this tells a story and gets an emotional response... wonderful page.
Absolutely stunning photo and page. I love the peacefulness and simplicity to set the perfect mood. It's really amazing.
I have so many fond memories of Brighton as we used to go there regulary -it was one of the nearest beaches for us to get took about 11/2hrs but we used to have so much fun the drive was worth it.
Wonderful blending its got such a ghostly feel to it so perfect for this structure.
Oh this is so sad but what a beautifully special tribute you have created, Valerie! I like the almost dreamy quality to your page and your choice of background and blending make this almost a magical page. :) Your embellishment cluster is beautiful too - I have those collections so I like seeing what you put together into such a super whole. Gorgeous layout and great work. :)
This is a beautiful page. The story is sad, but at least your memories will last. Nice picture and blending, the colors you chose help create the mood. Very nice page, I like it.
Gorgeous page - I really like your background. It is so sad to see the monuments of the past fading away.
This is beautiful, like a watercolor. I love your series.
I love the effect of your background blending on your photo. It softens the photo but it also reminds us that the pier is going away. Beautiful concept and beautiful page!
