Mon 7-15 Water Challenge and HNC 7-10 Embellishments

I decided to use one of my photos of the Seine -- It's not the sea side, but it's still water, right? In case you are curious, I got the background paper this color by changing the original to black and white, increasing its contrast, using an Invert filter, then colorizing it sepia. I had a lot of fun with it, especially using the embellishments. TFL!

The background looks great and perfect with your lace border. Neat cluster, too and a great photo. The whole page has a nice vintage feel to it.

So pretty. The symmetrical layout and the style of the trims make for such a formal, elegant look -- perfect for what I imagine as Paris

Don't you just love the invert function?? It is such a handy quick trick... maybe one of us should write about it?? I vote you hee hee. No seriously, this is gorgeous, the embellishments and whole styling to the page just reinforce the elegance and style of Paris whilst the fruit etc gives the feel of art in the Louvre meets the country style women whom you do actually SEE in Paris! Love the B&W photo against the colourful highlights, it really works well :-)
