Mon Challenge 7/8/13

I have labored over this for the old building challenge. Just can't seem to be satisfied, but this is what I decided to go with. It's a beautiful building that was for sale and falling into disrepair. This picture was taken in April 2012. I get so sad when I see these beautiful historic buildings with no one to take care of it. If I could, I would. My supplies are listed in the EXIF file.

I love how you used the flower borders and the old worn feel you've used on the photo, which I love. Thanks for joining the challenge.

Very pretty and bright - love the aged paper you used on the photo and the border created by the flowers, I agree about old buildings, such a shame to see them let go... :-(

This looks like a building that could tell a lot of stories about those who were within its walls. I like the two rows of flowers and gems - very pretty.

It looks like a great old building. I know what you mean about the sadness. I hate to see old buildings falling apart, or worse torn down before their time. It border of flowers looks great, like a bed of flowers in the front yard.

It does look like a great old building with lots of charm. I also feel sad when these lovely old places fall into ruin -- or get torn down! Your layout is lovely. I especially like the boost of color you gave it with those pretty flowers.
