I couldn't choose a favorite song, so I scrapped about my favorite music genre - Musicals! I chose some appropriate song lyrics to go with this theme.

Song lyrics:

There's no business like show business like no business I know

Everything about it is appealing, everything that traffic will allow

Nowhere could you get that happy feeling when you are stealing that extra bow

There's no people like show people, they smile when they are low

Even with a turkey that you know will fold, you may be stranded out in the cold

Still you wouldn't change it for a sack of gold, let's go on with the show ...

("There's No Business Like Show Business"

from "Annie Get Your Gun," lyrics by Irving Berlin)

Journaling:

My favorite music genre is Broadway musical soundtracks. I love the stories that musicals tell and the emotions they evoke in the audience. Broadway musicals hold many special memories for me - performing on stage during high school, sitting in the Muny audience every summer for the last 10 years with Grandma's season tickets, and singing along to soundtracks with my relatives on car trips or various gatherings. There truly is no business like show business!

Such a neat layout. Great photos and wonderful journaling. All the angles really give this a neat look, too.

This is such a fun page! The song choice is perfect and the cd embellie tucked behind the photos is a neat touch.
