Staycation 2013 - road trip - Color Challenge

We did a three day Staycation over the 4th of July weekend. One of the places we visited was the Butterfly Wonderland in
Scottsdale, Arizona. What a totally awesome experience it was to be able to be in the arboretum with the butterflies
just flying free! The blue butterflies were my favorite ones. The other side of their wings were brown and cream colored
and had designs and patterns on them. Sooooo beautiful!

That really is a lovely photo. I love the embellishments and the angle of your papers.
That wood grain paper works so well for your lovely page. It would have been a wonderful experience.
THAT is a gorgeous butterfly! I like the different shades of blue to bring out the bright blue butterfly. I like the texture of this layout...and the scribbles along the blue paper. Great layering too! Thanks for participating in the challenge.
Amazing photo! I've also had the wonderful experience of being in a butterfly arboretum, but my photos are mostly VERY blurry. It seems butterfly wings move a lot faster than they appear to. ;) Gorgeous layout, too. I love the layers, the colors, the textures, and the beautiful embellishments.
Awesome photo and beautiful page. Lovely work, Jan. :)
    So pretty!
Gorgeous photo and I like the bark texture for the background.
Ooooooh ~ the slightly desaturated rich colors look beautiful against the neutral colors and natural elements. Love your layering on this too! Wonderful layout! :)
