I grew up in Windsor and loved every minute of it :) Windsor Castle dates back to 1070's with William the Conqueror building the Round Tower and later Kings adding to it. I still love seeing the soldiers march through town to change the guards at the castle.

Oh, this is wonderful, Jane! I just spotted the little thumbnail on the MB and it stood out so well and I could see it was a Historic Downtown for sure! And, wow - Historic for sure... I love your wonderful photos and the way you've arranged them and I really enjoyed your interesting journaling. What a neat place to grow up! Well this is certainly historic, I didn't know you grew up here. The castle looks great but I really like the little historic buildings. Love the title with the stitching and the little tack on your postcard is a really cute touch.

What a beautiful castle Windsor is. Your photos are wonderful, especially the changing of the guard. How quaint the town looks.
