Thank you for creating such a beautiful Art Journal page about yourself for the Challenge, Jode - it's wonderful! I love the soft, muted colors you used and your art doll is super sweet. I really like the quotes you used - they're perfect for your theme and word. And I also really like your background and title and the fancy lace pieces and charms you scattered around. Awesome page and thanks for all your help and for adding a piece of creative YOU to the Thursday Challenge!

LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Oh, and by the way, I love Elizabeth Edwards quotes - she was quite a lady and I have several of them in my favorite quotes file - I'll have to add this one to it too!

Perfect! Love the way you place the text (great quotes, btw) and the symbolism of the feathers - like the Phoenix rising from the ashes; they are placed like butterfly wings - rebirth. As usual, your blending of papers and embellishments is spectacular; I find myself concentrating on your page and I keep finding more treasures in it.

I must look up quotes by Elizabeth Edwards. She was such an inspiration, dealt a pretty unbelievable hand yet she was full of grace. Your page wonderfully reveals the grace and resilience we all go through at some point and its how we handle it that makes us who we are. I love the many dainty and sweet elements you combined in the background, lace, feathers and softly colored patterns, so beautiful and the art doll rising to the occasion. Love it!
