Art Journaling Challenge - Love you now

A couple of weeks ago I tried my hand at art journaling for the very first time. It scared me somewhat as I like 'rules' and 'form' in my scrapping, but I gave it a go and by the end was even enjoying myself! You'll see that I couldn't quite let go completely from traditional scrapping (I HAD to include a photo somehow!) but I tried to make sure the sentiment was the focus of the page, rather than the photo. I must admit, it became quite theraputic to just keep adding any bits that I felt suited the 'feeling' of my page (hence the long credits list!) without worrying about how coordinated they were, and it was a GREAT way to practice my blending skills.

Beautiful color scheme and I love the soft dreamy feel here. It is OK to use photos in art journaling projects -- there's no right or wrong way to do it. Nice work! :)

Oh, I just love your result, Anna! It's so soft and full of feeling and different pieces so beautifully put together. I really like the colors you used and you you arranged the word art - just super! I keep looking around and around your pretty background and am fascinated at how creatively you put it together.
