Saturday Color Challenge 8/3/13 -- "Pfister's Farm"

Oh I just love that photo!!!! What a stunning piece of classic Americana! The colours are fabulous for the challenge and I am really enjoying the contrast between old and new here... I know so little about Vermont that your photos have been such a pleasure to see... great way to showcase with the mask and I like the repetition of wood in the background. Well done!

I love the photo. I especially like the new red roof in the photo. It really stands out. Love the border and blending.

I love old barns and you're right, these are perfect colors for the challenge! The mask you used makes such a neat border. Cool font, too.

This is wonderful. That mask is great, just like paint strokes and the reveal of the wood background is great. The colors are perfect and what a lovely photo. I can just smell the fresh air.

Love the old barn photos -- some of my favorite subjects (I'm learning to snap shots of here in SD, Iowa and Neb). Your LO page is stunning!!! Your technique of allowing the wood paper to peek through the artistic mask is unique. VERY smart. Your blending of the burlap with the grass is just lovely. What an artistic page!!!
