P15 Mobile R

Journaling reads:

Hanging in the centrum of the ship was a metal mobile representing the Aurora Borealis. I thought it was absolutely stunning and kept taking pictures of it. In the evening, colored lights gave it an ever-changing appearance.

Interesting aside: Cruise ships spend millions of dollars on artwork that people just walk by and barely notice. On one of our sea days they offered an "art tour" of the ship, which I was eager to do. To my surprise, I was the only person who showed up for the tour! So I got a private tour, and spent about an hour walking the ship with one of the art gallery employees who pointed out different works, and we talked about the techniques used to make them. That's how I learned that this mobile represented the aurora borealis.

Good for you taking the art tour! Those other passengers missed a lot, I'm thinking. I love your photos and can certainly understand why you'd keep snapping away. :D I like your elegant background paper for this lovely page.
