Lotus Mosaic - Mon Challenge 8/19/13

I'm not sure this really fits today's challenge - but decided to post it here anyway. The photos aren't mine, DD Karin took them this week at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington D.C. The moments of lotus bloom are fleeting, but are considered a rather big event locally. I lifted the mosaic idea from a framed collage of iris photos that Karin gave me several years ago. Paper details are in EXIF. TFL.

Beautiful. I love the mosaic tile effect that you created. Love your photos of the Lotus Flowers. I see some interesting things in the photos: the four top photos look like a frog with a cat on its back. I know, I'm cracking up. :lol:
