Thurs 8-22 Art Journal - Senses

When I think of growing up in New Hampshire I think of winter and snow. I especially liked those days with bright blue skies when the snow formed a glittery crust that you could crunch underfoot. I even embedded a couple of photos of me as a child in the snow. Once again I'm finding art journaling a great way to use bits and pieces from my stash. What fun!

OOOhhhh.. Diane this is just lovely and you truly created the "feel" of those crisp, frigid winter days - nice on a hot day like this to remember it! I love your wonderful blending and background. It's gorgeous and I keep visiting around and around it finding more interesting pieces to marvel at. It all comes together so beautifully and I think I can even spot a bit of little YOU in it! I love the colors you used along with the white and your edging and word art - I love it all! Super page and thanks for sharing and adding your own personal sense memory and beautiful creation to the Thursday Art Journaling Challenge :)

Really beautiful. Did you apply the style to the feathers? It look so pretty. I like the quote and the title, Brrrr. It's pretty cold here at the moment and my hands are freezing...so does that mean I have got a warm heart???disappearing-smilie.gif

I'm not ready for winter again!! You have expressed it very well, and it's fun that you can put what you want on the journal pages, then keep it private if you like. Very nice!

Diane, this is just wonderful. I love the polar bear amidst all that ice and snow. Love the snowflakes and all the icy colors. Great page.
