My first attempt at a Heritage type layout with an old picture from 1948. This is in honor of my Aunt who passed away last November. Journaling reads:

My Aunt Lavon was like my other parent. She came to live with us when my daddy died in 1945. She was always there for me as an example of graciousness and love!

She passed away at the age of 95 in 2005.

 

I used Kelly Shults Curiosities Paper 7 and Elements from the Curiosity collection.

I used an overlay of Carrie Stephens Mat vellum torn.
