Amazonia Science Center, left

These pages are from our spring trip to the zoo, and were taken in the Science Center attached to the wonderful Amazonia exhibit. The right page shows two of the exhibits that fascinated the grandkids.

I designed this as one layout for two pages so I could blend the backgrounds. The top layer is Angela Blanchard's Subtropical paper, green, duplicated. I flipped one copy horizontally, lined up the two, andbstretched each a bit toward the center, then erased part of the overlap for a smooth blend. I added a hue/saturation adjustment layer to deepen the color a little. That layer had a luminosity blend at 88% over Durin's Overcast papers 2 & 4, overlapped, erased and merged as for the top layer. I applied a narrow border, using Melissa Renfro's Inky brush and EdgeIt action. Everything else is PSE strokes & custom shapes, and styles - details in EXIF. TFL!

Science Centers are such interesting places. Love the photo of the globe showing the changing weather patterns. Great background paper You did a fabulous job of blending, overlapping, hue/saturation, erasing, merging etc. Whew! :whew: that sure is a lot of work and the page turned out fantastic.
