My mom and aunt

My mom and aunt

Came across this picture while cleaning out my son's closet- no idea how it got there! It is my mom (on the right) and my aunt, taken in 1929. What a great find! I didn't know my mom was fair which was such a surprise.

I adore the paperstacking. Pretty clustering.
My mom always insists she is a blonde although I don't remember her hair as anything but brown. I guess it happens, that the hair darkens as you get older. It's a cute photo and I like your layers and brushwork.
Love the papers you chose for this. Such a cute photo.
What a darling photo! I love the frame you gave it and the journaling paper you used - great layout.
I loev the stacking of your papers, looks very pretty.
Such a lovely photo too, i love how your framed it and the cluster, really pretty brushwork.
What a great find. I love the papers and embellishments. I like the texture of the grey paper. Such a lovely layout.
What a wonderful discovery! I love your layered papers, and the soft heart brush you used. And the butterfly and ivy frame the photo beautifully.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments. It was fun to scrap. I used a brush on the second layer to give it some contrast- it was white and got lost between the 2 other papers. I can't take credit for the heart brushwork- it was a cluster paint that came in a kit. I wish my brush work was this good, LOL. I am trying to use less templates and force myself to think outside my comfort zone- so much to learn!
