Rescued from the shelter

This is Raven. We adopted her on Thursday of this week. She is a 1 and a half year old Springer Spaniel and Labrador mix. She had her hair all cut off because when she was found in Oklahoma (she's in MO now), she was underweight and covered in ticks and scabs. Someone in Oklahoma rescue gave her the name before she was shipped to a shelter in MO, so she doesn't even know it.. yet! She's our first dog and hubby and I are in love. She's so well behaved (somehow!.. so far anyway) and we are rapidly turning into "one of THOSE dog couples".

I used the Doggy Tales Biggie Collection for everything except the frame paper, which was from the collection Winter White. The template was dstemplate-18

Well, I'm in love with her already. We lost our wonderful springer a year ago and I still hear her pattering through the house. Give Raven a big hug and an extra scratch behind her ears. She's a lucky girl to have found her forever home.

Raven is beautiful! I can definitely see the spaniel in her. They have the silkiest hair! She's so lucky to have a loving family now. (My husband and I are definitely "one of THOSE dog couples", LOL.) It's an adorable layout with a picture that really is worth a thousand words. So, congrats!

She is so precious. And so blessed to have found her home with you. We have rescued two puppies now and fostered a third, so we are one of those dog families. Still have our daughter home with us and we got the dogs for her but I have totally fallen in love with them. Our first one died a couple years ago though and it was so heartbreaking. But he was so worth having while we had him. Love your layout. Enjoy that sweet puppy.

We have gotten most of our dogs from shelters. This is lovely what you have done. She is beautiful. I love the zig zag papers and colors. Pretty layout.

She is just precious and I'm happy to know that you adopted her from a shelter. Most of my sister's kitties were rescued from the streets, and my boy Tini was adopted from my old vet's office. Love your layout and the kit you used. The background papers are wonderful and so is that cute little bone cluster.

I love those papers. Rescuing animals is the most wonderful thing someone can do. I hope y'all love each other for a long, long time!

I told people on my facebook that they better get used to dog photos. I don't have kids or anything else going on, so they had to "deal" I told them. I already have the photos for another layout of her too!

Thanks for looking and commenting, guys!
