If truth be known I dislike gift cards ... there was a time I wouldn't buy them because they seemed impersonal and unoriginal. But now I sometimes resort to them because there is nothing special the person wants. I got gift cards this year for both my grown children. To make them more original I made 5x7 holders for the cards and taped the front to back with double sided tape. For my son who has 4 children I gave gift certificate to their favorite restaurant and a gas card. I tucked them in this this holder and then made the extra little card to inside.
