Here's my layout for today's challenge. Nothing real fancy, but I liked the subtle change. I used the paint daubs filter with a light rough brush type and I added one of Brandy Murry's painting textures.

Supplies:

ScrapSimple Embellishment Templates: Gallery Prints

Chenille 1 Paper

Warm Wishes Collection Mini

ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Painting Textures 8501

ScrapSimple Tools - Styles: Basic Shadows 6501

Thanks for looking!

This looks like a postcard! The photo treatment is very interesting, I like how subtle it is for such a beautiful and delicate flower... well done!

OOOOHHhhh..... This is absolutely gorgeous Theresa! Your photo is beautiful and your treatment of it has turned it into a real work of Impressionist art! I really like the paint texture and the soft edges to your painting and your framing and background is so pretty and shows it off even more. I like how you included a copy of the original, too. Thanks for joining the challenge and adding a gorgeous piece of Impressionist digital Art to the Monday Challenge Gallery. Lovely work! :)

Beautiful layout Theresa! I like the black on creme, really makes the painting pop. Your use of the filters, brushes and texture are wonderful. The paint daubs was certainly a great choice for this challenge.

Wow, Theresa, this is beautiful! I love the brilliant color against the black. It's interesting to see the "before" photo for comparison. You've really turned it into a gorgeous Impressionist "painting"!

This is beautiful! I love the swirly brush strokes. The before photo was a good idea. Very nice look with the white background and black frame.

Gorgeous! The Azalea looks translucent with the filters and textures you added. Love that paper background with the 'Warm Wishes' border. It's so beautiful. Great before photo.

Very gorgeous! I LOVE the swirly, dreamy effect you achieved on your altered photo. It is fun to see it next to the original. The cut-out border on the neutral background is a wonderful foil to the bright pictures.

Oh, how beautiful! I love the effects you've used and the dramatic black frame. I also like the inset photo displaying the original photo. I think the photo(s) and lacy background qualify as "fancy" - :). Lovely work!

Your black framing really makes that beautiful photo of your jump from the page. Great painted effects you created and I too like that you included the original.
