Saturday Color Challenge 1/11/14 "Goddaughter"

On her first Christmas, my baby Goddaughter brought me a frame with this poem on one side. We took a photo together in front of the Christmas tree which I later put in the other side of the frame. Since then on each Christmas day we pose together - now she is almost 12 and still a Sweetie!

With a little addition of purple (never a problem for me) our Christmas outfits perfectly fit today's Color Challenge! :)

Journaling reads:

Lovely page and beautiful memories creatively preserved! I like the poem combined with the two photos showing you and your goddaughter over time. Gorgeous blending of the background papers and the big photo. This is a keepsake page.

What a beautiful page of you and your god daughter together through the years. What a cutie pie she was as a baby and lovely as a young lady now. Love that pretty background paper you used and soft blend of the purple to tie together the photo and journaling. Great page!

That's a cool sweater! This is such a neat layout - I love the ones like these that show the passing of the years. Lovely poem and your goddaughter is such a cutie. Nice job with the blending, too.

Awww... this is super sweet! How nice that you got dressed especially for this week's color challenge, too. :) (Just kidding). You and your adorable goddaughter have a lovely tradition. I like that you show us the original photo and the poem, too. Beautiful page!
