Tini and Me

I had so much fun and learned a few new things while doing this challenge. This photo is of my cat, Tini. I duplicated it three times and used PSE12 Photographic Effects on each photo: purple, red, blue and green tints. Then I used Filter>Artistic > 1)Poster Edges, 2)Plastic Wrap, 3)Colored Pencil, which is my favorite, and 4)Cutout. On the 'girl' I used Sepia to tone her down a bit. On the Op Art Papers I colored it using BMU Styles Wooden_3 and that gave it an interesting style. Then I overlayed that with Artsy Spirit Paper_11 at 48% opacity and it picked up the design from the paper.

Supplies Used:

DEB Artsy Spirit -- Paper_3, Paper_11, Alphas

DEB Color Grunge Collection -- Butterflies

VRA SSPaper Op Art Rays -- Paper 3

CRO Christmas Hope Collection -- Girl recoloring using PSE12 Styles 'Sepia'

Carol this is so cool and I love that you described what you did here, thank you! There are quite a few things I haven't tried yet and now I can thanks to you. Your photos and Tini look wonderful - they really came out great and "pop" on your page. I love how you created your background with the sun rays and the bold vivid colors you used. I like what you did with the girl too - awesome work! Thanks for adding your Pop Art Masterpiece to the Monday Challenge Gallery! :)

This is such fun, Carol! Tini looks cool in her color variations. And I love the background you created; thanks for telling us how you did it - I feel a scrap lift waiting to be born. GREAT page!

I love the colors here! Your photo effects are wonderful and I like the patterned background and the girl (you?) too. Lovely and colorful butterflies and title add to the overall effect.
