Breathe - Freebie Chall 1/21/14

This is a double scrap lift - the background from Anna's "On Top of the World" LO, and the inclusion of the picture of DH and me in front of - WAY in front of - a volcano from Joyce's "Denali" LO in this challenge. When I first saw Anna's page, I saved it, and noted that I wanted to use her photo treatment for this photo; finally got around to it. Joyce's page reminded me of the smaller photo, and how breathless we were when it was taken - not entirely because of the climb or the altitude.

 

The supplies are in the EXIF files. The page links should be, too; if they're not, I'll fix it.

 

OK - the URLs are in EXIF, but not as links, so...

 

Denali

 

On Top of the World - the URL I saved with the page does not work, and I can't find the page in the gallery. It may have been a product LO for the 12th of Never collection, which is retired. Sorry about that!

Jo this is gorgeous and I always so enjoy your notes full of interesting information and I liked reading about your process here. Wow, it's a lot of work but the result is awesome. Beautiful photo, treatment, blending -- well, gorgeous everything! :)

You had me giggling about why you were puffing - lets just say it WAS the altitude and distance :-). You two have had some fabulous holidays and your photos always show us things we haven't seen before. This is no exception. Wonderful way to showcase the larger photo whilst bringing in detail with the smaller. Just gorgeous.
