Magdalen Bridge

This is Magdalen Bridge in Oxford (pronounced more-de-lin) looking towards the town center. Whenever I visited my Nan I would always ask to cross the bridge. On one side (in the photo) you would see people punting on the Cherwell River. The other side looked into the botanical Gardens, you would also see ducks and swans. As a kid just crossing the bridge was the best fun ever.

I scraplifted this layout by Syndee Photograph

Oh yes! This is a gorgeous photo and the scraplift you picked showcases it wonderfully! Love the moss and the age on that bridge - it would be 500 years old? Love the journaling and the story behind the photo, and how you anchored it with the embellishments. Gorgeous.

Fantastic page and wonderful scraplifting! I love the placement of the photo and the horizontal lines of the embellishments and alpha provide wonderful contrast. I particularly like the sunflower against the chicken wire - perfect addition to the page!

Fascinating scraplift -- Your page is just as lovely as Syndee's but with a whole different mood. The warm colors and simple embellishments are perfect for the peacefulness in your photo. Interesting anecdote, too!

cool bridge, neat journaling about your childhood. The moss on the bridge could have been here too. Except nothing is that old around here.

Beautifully elegant LO. Love the alpha you used to make the title. All the white space gives wonderful focus to your photo and embellishments. I love all the wonderful historic places where you live. What a great place to grow up.
