Using the following blog post, I used a gradient on the photo as well as on a SS paper. It's so fun to try new things!

I used a black white gradient on the photo. Then copied that photo and applied a custom gradient (orange to blue, using colors from her hoodie) then lowered the opacity of the top layer (photo) until it looked "just right".

Beautiful photo of your daughter. Your background papers and layers are such beautiful colours. I also like all your different patterns and textures and how you have used them. I also like the scalloped edges of the navy paper. Such a beautiful layout!

I really must start using the gradient tool. I love what you have done with the photo. The layering behind the photo is just great. Lovely layout and photo.

What a great photo of your daughter! I like the gradient effect you applied. The blue and orange is a fun color combo. Love all the layers and patterns!
