Ginny Whitcomb: Time To RAWR Collection

Mammoth Site in Hot Springs, South Dakota is a great place to take young dinosaur hunters. This museum was erected directly over a site where about 100 immature male mammoths were trapped in a sink hole in prehistoric times. Excavation goes on all year round, and visitors can watch from a walkway surrounding the dig site. My boys had the most fun with the models of huge bones from long ago.

Photo 2: Steven with a model of a mammoth’s thigh bone

Note: The young, immature male mammoths got themselves into big trouble, just like young, immature male humans, perhaps?! Hmmm…..

Sue this is such a fabulous layout. Great photos of the boys and I like where you placed your journaling. Wonderful use of the embs in this collection. I especially like how you buried the word art and the bones in the rocks representing the burial ground.

Great layout, Sue; I love the photos. And I covet this collection, although all my kids, even my DGS, seem to have outgrown their interest in dinosaurs. But if you haven't been to Dinosaur National Monument in Utah, you should add it to your list of destinations. Our girls loved it when they were about ten or twelve.

Sounds like a really cool place, Sue and your layout is wonderful! Your photos are great, I can see those guys were jokesters even when small! I love how you put all the pieces together on this page. Super work! :)
