Monday was Bob's birthday. We grilled steaks, got him an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen and I gave him a dash duster for his new car. Cathrine gave him some yummy chocolate and all the kids signed his card. Annette and Mark's house offer was accepted, so I went with Annette to choose exterior paint colors. She likes the dark blue with white trim. Wednesday Cathrine baked a birthday cake for her friend using a recipe from one of Grandma's cookbooks. I picked most of the tomatoes and chiles from the garden and made the best pico de gallo salsa I've ever had. We made another batch to bottle.
