Sunday I slept in. A lot. After church I made a yummy apple crisp. Annette made vanilla ice cream to go with it. Monday we cleaned wedding stuff out of the garage and got the new Camry in it. Cathrine had a s'more party with some swimming in the evening. Tuesday I cleaned the linen closet, made up the beds in the sewing room, got Charlotte's stuff put in the attic, baked banana bread and worked on new car stuff. Thomas had his first day of school on Wednesday. We hosted a swim party that night for the young men. Friday we hosted a block party for our neighborhood. It was a rainy, rainy day, but it cleared up in the afternoon. We still moved the party inside. Only a few families came, but it was nice getting to know some more neighbors. Saturday I cleaned the house some more, deadheaded lots of flowers and looked at houses with Annette and Mark again. The two new listings they wanted to see were already sale pending, but there was one in the same neighborhood that Ron was getting ready to list, so he took us to see it. They really liked it and since the updating work hasn't been done yet, they'll be able to choose their own colors. I cleaned out the linen closet and Thomas cleaned out his closet. Lots of items to donate between the two of us.
