Reflections on my 60th birthday, which is tomorrow. Thanks for looking.

Those with smaller screens may have trouble with the journaling, which reads:

I was born on Valentine's Day 60 years ago. No other birthday has affected me nearly so much as this one. It seems only days since I graduated from college and started my first job. Only moments since I was a young bride beginning to make a home. It can't be over 30 years since I held my first-born nervously in my arms. Years have passed too quickly and they've been full of blessings too numerous to list. I've lived beyond my wildest dreams... and have new dreams yet to be lived. I don't know the plans God has for me in the years that remain on this earth, but I hope they will be years full of faith, love, joy and gratitude. May there be challenges and achievements. I hope, every day, to do something that brings me happiness and satisfaction. And may I always create art, in one form or another.

I am right behind you and I keep thinking about this being a huge milestone--turning 60 this year! Your journaling is so thoughtful and hits right on with me too. I just pray that all our little kids will grow up with both my husband and I in good health in body and mind. I guess I better not get down about turning 60, but rather like you think of what i can do and want to do and ENJOY creating art! Oh, and Happy Birthday to you and many more!!!

What a wonderful personal reflection page--truly "heartfelt." This is a lovely birthday gift to yourself, and I admire the exercise in journalling. Happy birthday this Valentine's, and sending wishes for many, many more.
