I was so impressed with Jody's layout for the January 23rd challenge to use texture on our layouts that I had to scrap lift hers.  THANKS, JODY, for your step by step help to create my own.  Jody's beautiful layout:   http://scrapgirls.ne...s-texture-chlg/

This is so gorgeous. The blended photo into the wooden paper looks amazing and I love your clusters :)

Stunning!!!! You did a perfect job with just one photo...I love it.

This is fabulous! The rich textures make me want to reach out and touch them. Beautiful colors and design and I especially like your journaling.

Great page and I love all the wonderful textures. Thanks for joining the challenge!

Wow!  This is such a nice page. I do like what you did with the photo - it looks great. The two clusters looks good.

I am laughing cos I was looking at this page thinking how wonderful it looked and then I read your notes- blush! Thankyou for crediting me but this beauty is all yours! The depth of field and the layering are superb and I really love the wood texture you included also.  The verse is perfect.  Is it yours? You have a way with words as well as scrapping!

Yes, the verse is mine.  Just my feelings about that beautiful little pioneer farming community and the memories it brought to me being there again the day we took that photo.  We lived there for five years when I was in my early teen years.  Thank you, Ladies, for all your kind comments on my layout.

What a gorgeous page, Jan!  Your photo is awesome - what a beautiful site and textures.   I loved your journaling and the embellishments you used.   Awesome work!  :)
