I used this challenge to complete an unfinished two-page layout since all I had left were the elements! I used 4 types of elements: paint brushes, a paint palette, blobs of paint, and buttons.

Amanda Fraijo-Tobin: ScrapSimple Digital Layout Album Templates: Absolutely Blended

Brandy Murry: Menagerie Collection Biggie

Brandy Murry: Menagerie Paper Super Mini 1

Syndee Nuckles: ScrapSimple Embellishment Templates: Paint Palette

Fonts: WetPaint, Nirmala UI Bold

Summary: My mom used to paint, knit, crochet, sew, do needlepoint, crewel work and many other crafts before she developed Alzheimer’s. She cannot do any of those things anymore on her own, but with the help of Larry Homan of Art without Boundaries, she can now paint again.

Good idea to record the steps the therapist uses with your Mum. the muted bg helps to pop the reds and greens in the page. I like it very much.

I echo Jean in never having heard of this therapy, but what a wonderful program and therapist. Your photos are wonderful and your journaling so interesting. I know this disease is a sad occurence, but this activity is so heartwarming and how lovely to bring joy to your Mom.

Wonderful LO and such a great story. Larry is a special guy to help people be happy again. She looks so happy to have been able to put paint on her canvas again. What a tribute to both of them.

Great two pages! I love the journaling here and the way your photos illustrate it. Larry sounds like a wonderful person and it's amazing how he can bring out your mother's talent. Thanks for sharing these pages!
