This is my first attempt at art journaling. It did help me to work on this layout. As many of you know I am recently widowed and the page is an art journal page about my grief. The poem was one that was read at Robert's funeral. Thank you for looking.

OHhhhh... Cindy this is beautiful and such a visceral picture of how you are feeling. I love your journaling, it made me tear as my Mom always loved that poem and it made me think she was telling it to me right now... You did a gorgeous job of depicting your emotions in this art journaling page. Your use of color, texture and significant symbols are touching and so evocative. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us and I am pleased that it was helpful to you. Take care and sending hugs to you...

This is marvelous... heartfelt obviously, but more than that. Your design and imagery are inspired. That is a beautiful poem, too. This must have been a difficult page to put together. Thank you for sharing!

What a deeply meaningful and lovely page! I hope creating it was a help to you. I like all the different images you used. The poem is especially meaningful since it was read at your husband's funeral. I appreciate your sharing this glimpse of your journey through grief.

Cindy, your embellishments here help to tell the story of life passing and support your poem wonderfully, I am so pleased you shared it here. Your first AJ? Wonderful work! I find it so interesting that both you and the next page by Joyce are based around similar experiences and hope that the process of journalling in this way has helped you both. What is life without emotion? Wonderful way to document one of the "not so good" times in your scrapbooking. THANKYOU.

So beautiful and touching, Cindy. I love so many aspects of this, but the part I love the most is that it helped you just a bit. Scrapbooking can be very therapeutic when you are ready. I love the words in the clear bubbles and the clocks. I find something new each time I look. I can't believe this is your first try!

This is such an amazing art journal page. I can feel your sadness in the poem and such a wonderful way to preserve it. The clocks are just so final showing the same time and its full of raw emotion. Beautiful page.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you peace and comfort in the coming months.

Cindy this is beautiful! I can feel how much you put into this. I love the circle and clock elements which brought to mind the idea that time is eternal. Our relationships are eternal. Such a beautiful sentiment!
